Hello everyone!
Last week was particularly special for me: my boyfriend and I celebrated our 5th year anniversary. To celebrate the date, we booked a night in Château de Brindos, a five star hotel in France, in the basque country, in the village of Anglet, near Biarritz.
We couldn’t leave a night like this one without a proper dinner, so we also booked a dinner in the one michelin star restaurant that belongs to the hotel.
It was magic!
The place is perfect for relaxing. It is calm and quiet, the surroundings are green and peaceful, with a big lake from where we can see and listen to geese.
Our room was large, historic and classy (the biggest hotel room I’ve ever been), with the wc separated from the bathroom (this last one also quite big, with two sinks, a tub and a shower).
The hotel afforded a hammam, a sauna, a gym and a pool for all the guest without any extra fees.
And the restaurant? Seven dishes (oysters, squid, prawns, foie, monkfish, 2 desserts) and a small perk at the end, an extra desert given by the restaurant to celebrate our special day! The last dish was composed by a plate with 6 mini-desserts, 3 differents and with “joyeux anniversaire” written with chocolate ganache 🙂 Needless to say, it was a delightful dinner.

A semana passada foi muito especial: eu e o meu namorado celebramos cinco anos de namoro. Para celebrar esta data, reservamos uma noite no Château de Brindos, um hotel de cinco estrelas localizado na vila de Anglet, perto de Biarritz, no país basco, em França.
Não poderíamos deixar passar este dia sem desfrutarmos de um jantar requintado. Reservamos o jantar no restaurante do hotel, que tem uma estrela michelin.
Tudo foi mágico!
O lugar é perfeito para relaxar. É calmo, com relva verdejante e um lago onde se podem ver e ouvir gansos. 
O nosso quarto era espaçoso (o maior em que alguma vez estive), clássico, com um toque de história que nos remete para os anos 30 e com um wc independente do quarto-de-banho (este último enorme, com 2 lavatório, uma grande banheira e um polibã).
O hotel oferece aos hóspedes alguns serviços a custo zero, como banho-turco, sauna, piscina e ginásio.
E o restaurante? Sete pratos (ostras, moluscos, camarões, foie, tamboril, 2 sobremesas) e uma sobremesa extra oferecida pelo restaurante para celebrar o nosso dia! Esta última era composta por um prato com 6 mini-sobremesas, 3 diferentes e com “joyeux anniversaire” escrito em ganache de chocolate 🙂 Foi, sem dúvida, um jantar divinal!
