Ok, this is a good thing! We have a lot of codfish dishes and we eat it after been dried and salted. We don’t eat fresh codfish.

They are sunny, warm, cheap and lovely places for your next holidays.

7. WE HAVE FADO

You can see and listen to people singing fado in the old coffees in Lisbon.

8. DON’T EXPECT TO BECOME A FANATIC OF PORTUGUESE SWEETS

Pastel de Nata is the most famous and tasteful Portuguese sweet. The other ones are only a cheap and a poor imitation of the french cuisine or only sugar plus sugar. We are not good with desserts!

9. YOU CAN HAVE A GOOD AND CHEAP COFFEE

The Portuguese coffee is short, intense, flavored and creamy.

10. OUR LAST PRIME MINISTER (JOSÉ SÓCRATES) IS IN JAIL

You can have an idea on how this country is being ruled.

Temos inúmeros pratos em que o bacalhau é o rei. Não comemos bacalhau fresco. Primeiro é salgado, depois demolhado e por último cozinhado e consumido.

São lugares quentes, bonitos e baratos. Ideais para as suas próximas férias!

Para ver e ouvir pessoas a cantar fado, nada melhor que ir aos cafés típicos lisboetas, onde os espetáculos decorrem.

Pastel de nata é o melhor doce português e é reconhecido além fronteiras. Os restantes doces são apenas uma imitação fraca e barata da gastronomia francesa ou, pior, doces feitos com açucar e açucar. Para esquecer!
