Let’s start our second day in Prague (first day here).
Segue-se o itinerário do nosso segundo dia em Praga (primeiro dia aqui).

1.CHARLES BRIDGE

It is “The Bridge”! It is the post card of Prague!
It is decorated by a continuous alley of 30 statues and statuaries, most of them baroque-style, originally erected around 1700, but now all replaced by replicas. It’s protected by three tower-bridges, two of them on the Malá Strana (the lesser quarter side – opposite side from old town) and the third one on the old town side.

1. PONTE CARLOS

É “A Ponte”! O cartão-postal de Praga!
É decorada por 30 estátuas, a maioria em estilo barroco, originalmente construídas por volta de 1700, mas atualmente muitas delas são réplicas. É protegida por três torres, duas delas na Malá Strana (lado oposto da cidade velha) e uma terceira no lado da cidade velha. 

2. CASTLE OF PRAGUE

Beside the old town square, one of the must see places in Prague is the castle located in the other side of the river, which includes the presidential residence. Without any doubt it is worth the visit.
I always try to buy tickets in advance, but in this case it was impossible. You have to buy them locally. There they will give you some circuits that you can choose from. Circuit A allows you to enter in the St Vitus Cathedral, The Old Royal Palace, St George’s Basilica, Golden Lane, Powder Tower and Rosenberg Palace; while B allows you to go to the same places as A without the two latest. We picked circuit B.

2. CASTELO DE PRAGA

Para além da zona velha, um local que não pode deixar de visitar é o castelo de Praga, localizado no outro lado do rio, e que compreende a residência oficial do presidente.
Eu tento sempre comprar os bilhetes online com alguma antecedência, mas neste caso é impossível. Terá que os comprar no local. Lá terá alguns circuitos à escolha, desde o Circuito A que dá acesso à Catedral de S. Vitus, ao Antigo Palácio Real, à Basílica de S. Jorge, à Golden Lane (Beco de Ouro), à Torre da Pólvora e ao Palácio Rosenberg; enquanto que o B permite o acesso aos mesmos locais do que A excluíndo os últimos dois. Escolhemos o circuito B.

We went on Christmas time, and got the chance to enjoy a flavorus lunch at the castle’s christmas market. A christmas marker at the door of a cathedral is part of the recipe for a striking moment. 😀
Uma vez que fomos em ínicios de dezembro, tivemos oportunidade de saborear um bom almoço no mercado de natal existente no castelo. 😀

3. DANCING HOUSE

In the afternoon, after you finished the castle circuit take a stroll near Vltava river and/or go to Petřín mountain. At twilight go to the Dancing House, and relax in the bar located at the top. The architectural style of this house is known as deconstructivist (“new-baroque” to the designers) architecture due to its unusual shape.

3. CASA DANÇANTE

À tarde, após finalizar o seu circuito no castelo dê uma caminhada junto ao rio vltava e/ou vá até à montanha Petřín. Ao pôr-do-sol dirija-se para a Casa Dançante, e relaxe no bar que existe no topo do edifício. O estilo arquitetónico da casa é conhecido como desconstrutivista (“novo-barroco” para os designers) devido à sua forma incomum.
