Carina Travel And Food

Oh Italy… I have to say that I visited Venice once in 2009; this year, I did a road trip during my honeymoon, crossing Ravello, Amalfi, Positano, Pompei, Naples, Rome, Florence, Milano and Lake Como. Here goes my own review.

THE NOT SO GOOD

1- Disorganization.
Chaos!

2- It seems that the inhabitants of Italy don’t have good healthcare.
You will see a lot of people without teeth or with them rotten.

3- The buses of Rome are a disaster.
Few and packed.

4- The food is not so brilliant.
Except in Toscany, where you can taste some good wines and meats;  and the real pizza, in Naples.

5- Unsafe.
Be aware of your belongings and do not trust anyone!

6- Rome without Romans.
You barely see Italians in Rome.

7- To manyyyy tourists!
It is insane!

8- Expensive.
Things are not worth the cost.

9- It seems that they live in the 90’s.
Especially in the southen part.

10- Worst museums organization ever.
Do you have a pre-booked ticket? Well, forget it…you will not skip the line.
Few flyers! Few information!

THE GOOD FACE

1- Treni Freccia Rosa
If you pretend to move between cities, this intercity train is a very good option. It is fast and cheap (if you buy in advance).

2- Beautiful coast side.

3- Wonderful and lovely lakes.

4 –  You can eat the best pizza of your life, in Naples.

5- Romantic cities (besides the tourists. If you can, go in the lower season).
Venice and Florence are a must visit.

6- Art and History
Yeahh. The good point that you could really enjoy 100% if  the point nº 10 of “bad things” didn’t exist.
My preferences go to Pompei, Sistine Chapel, Fontana di Trevi, Uffizi Gallery and Michelangelo’s David.

7- In general and taking in account the number of tourists, the cities are clean.

8- One of the most oldest and well-renowned opera house is in Milano.
It is worth the visit.

9- Mozzarella di Bufala.

10- High-fashion and trendy-stylist bars in Milano.
It is the northern power city of Italy. People seem to be living in better conditions than in the center and south.

VISITAR A ITÁLIA: SIM OU NÃO?

Ohh Itália… Tenho que deixar claro que visitei Veneza em 2009; e este ano, durante a minha lua-de-mel, conheci cidades desde o Sul ao Norte de Itália (Ravello, Amalfi, Positano, Pompei, Nápoles, Roma, Florença, Milão e Lago de Como). Segue o meu parecer.

FRACO

1-Desorganização.
Caos!

2- Fracos cuidados de saúde.
Muita gente com dentes podres ou sem dentes.

3- Os autocarros de Roma são um desastre.
Há poucos e estão sempre lotados.

4- A comida não é tão brilhante.
Exceto na Toscana, onde poderá saborear bons vinhos e carnes; e em Nápoles, a famosa pizza.

5- Insegura.
Proteja os seus bens e não confie em ninguém!

6- Roma sem Romanos.
Poucos são os Italianos que se veem em Roma.

7- Demasiados touristas!
Horrível!<

8- Cara.
As coisas não valem o que custam.

9- Parece que pararam nos anos 90.
Especialmente os habitantes do sul.

10-Museus com péssima organização.
Comprou o seu bilhete com antecedência? Esqueça!…terá sempre que ir para a fila.
Poucos flyers! Pouca informação!

BOM

1- Treni Freccia Rosa.
Se pretende mover-se entre cidades, este comboio intercidades é uma boa opção. É rápido e barato (se comprar com antecedência).

2- Bonita costa.

3- Magníficos lagos.

4- Poderá comer a melhor pizza da sua vida, em Nápoles.

5- Cidades românticas (Se puder vá em época baixa para evitar tantos turistas).
Veneza e Florença merecem uma visita.

6- Arte e História.
Uma das melhores coisas que Itália oferece. Porém, podia-se  desfrutar a 100% se o ponto nº 10 das coisas “menos boas” não existisse.
As minhas preferências: Pompeia, Capela Sistina, Fontana di Trevi, Galeria Uffizi e o David de Michelangelo.

7- Em geral e tendo em conta o número de turistas, as cidades são limpas.

8- Uma das maiores e mais conceituada casa de ópera está em Milão.
Assista a um espectáculo.

9- Mozzarella di Bufala.

10- Alta-costura e bares trendy em Milão.
É uma das potência económica do norte. As pessoas parecem viver em melhor condições que as do centro e sul de Itália.
